Mad River Inn

The hosts were great people, very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious. The room was comfortable and the Inn is very close to local ski areas.

We had a great stay at the Mad River Inn. Wonderful hosts, lovely old inn, delicious breakfast (and afternoon cookies!), impressive tea selection, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had to cut our stay short unexpectedly, but we’ll be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Mad River Inn with Brandon and Suzannah. Breakfast was incredible with a sweet and savoury option every morning. The game room is a lovely extra. The location is great with easy access to Stowe and Waterbury close by with great restaurants. Our room was comfortable and cosy - a fantastic place to stay for a weekend away

Stayed for two nights with my partner. We were made to feel very welcome and looked after. The breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were really helpful with tips about the area. Would definitely recommend!

Best place and experience I’ve ever encountered.

Great breakfasts! The owners are very friendly and extremely helpful. They have a formal living room and a game room in the basement. They live in the house with their 2 young children who play in the living room after dinner. They were very cute.

Fabulous bed and breakfast. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and gave us excellent recommendations on where to go for fall colors and areas of interest and dining options. Breakfasts were really delicious!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Brandon and Susannah. They made us feel so wecome. We also enjoyed sharing their lovely inn with the other guests. Each morning they made the most delicious breakfast with the best coffee. Highly recommend.

The owners of this property were friendly and gracious, The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The food was fantastic. Our hosts even mapped out a driving route of the area so we could take in all the beautiful fall foliage.
