Hotel was pleasant, clean, well located with nice views

A few days before our arrival, we were notified by the hotel about an issue with our payment. Although Booking.com showed no problems, the hotel’s manager insisted otherwise. When we asked for more information about the payment issues, the manager was unhelpful and didn't offer a solution. In our efforts to resolve the issue, we accidentally booked an additional room. Strangely, although we didn’t change our payment method, the issue was resolved after booking the additional room, and we received no further communication from the hotel. The manager was fully aware of our error since we had previously communicated with him regarding our party size. Upon our arrival, we were met with a rude reception from the hotel manager, who accused us of booking two rooms. We immediately contacted Booking.com to cancel the extra room and were willing to pay the cancellation fees according to their policy. It seemed like the manager tried to exploit this situation, as he suggested we pay him directly, bypassing Booking.com and the established cancellation policy. What followed was a distressing five-day ordeal where the manager threatened, gaslighted, and slandered us, even making racist comments. His expectation was that we would pay him for the entire stay, ignoring that we were acting in accordance with the hotel’s own cancellation policy. At one point, he even threatened to call the police because the hotel didn’t accept the card we were using – a detail the manager failed to know or mention beforehand. It’s truly unfortunate, as the hotel and its staff were otherwise pleasant. However, the manager – who never even introduced himself – demonstrated a complete lack of managerial skills and an inability to handle situations with the necessary sensitivity and professionalism. What could've been resolved calmly escalated unnecessarily due to his mishandling. If you wish to have a pleasant, stress-free vacation, we strongly advise against choosing this hotel

Very well-kept, stylish accommodation and surroundings, furnished with attention to detail. We had a warm welcome and felt completely comfortable during our stay. Dinner was delicious and with local specialties.

We were so lucky to be allowed to stay for a week at Cascina Tre Botti in the beautiful surroundings of Agliano Terme. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed as if we had been there before. Incredibly nice staff who went out of their way to give us a fantastic holiday. We traveled with an almost three-year-old boy, and they made sure that he too had a wonderful holiday by being allowed to cuddle with the cats on the property. We got the apartment room which also had its own small kitchen area. Perfect to use when traveling with a picky eater boy. We adults, on the other hand, loved both the food, the local wine and the service we received at the resort's own restaurant, where everything is homemade. It tasted incredibly good! We also received good recommendations for places to visit, restaurants and wineries. An absolutely perfect trip in an absolutely perfect place. Highly recommended for both adults and children. Thank you very much for us, we will come again!
