Azal Lagoons Resort Abu Simbel

upon our arrival we were welcome by Serag El Din the front Office who took extremely good care of us througout our entire stay: restaurant recommendations (we has dinner ar Eskaleh Eco -Lodge which was outstanding), arrange transportation, Hana Michael took very good care of our trips and also Ahmed. We felt more like with friends rather than employees from a Hotel and we LOVE It. They definitely make the experience absolutely worth it

The hotel is excepcional, very new with great facilites, however seems they keep in the process to be completed...the wifi did not work properly, the breakfast could use fresh coffee instead of coffee bags, the burguer we had at the pool was expensive for the quality and the gym miss some additional weight Small things that are totally overrule by the level of attention provided the staff

The staff and food was excellent. We enjoyed our 1 night stay. Seraj delivered amazing service. He was always available to meet out needs.

Everything was great.

Staff was very very friendly. . Especialy Serag and both receptionists! Staff organized a supprise for our friend for her birthday . The cake was good. Room/appartment are nice, lot of space, tidy and very clean. Bed were confortable . Happy they had a little car to help you to go tp yiut house because the hotel is huge and the swimming pool a must with this hot weather !

Food was not good, ingredients low quality and huge quantites. I would rather have a small plate, better quality ingredients and more delicate "cuisine". it was Very expensive too . The hotel lack "cosy"/"personal" feeling, it s a huge and main stream. The spa and others facilities were close. Swiming pool was not very clean but it was ok though

Azal Lagoons is a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are so modern, clean, comfortable and incredibly spacious. The location is just 15 minutes away from Abu Simbel and the staff will go beyond their way to help you with anything you need. The team and Seraj was so supportive to cater for our food requirements and arranging tickets.

Simply not. Perhaps I have to mention that we could have been the only guests in the resort for the night.

Chocked drain hole in bathroom with feet submerged under water if we haven’t stood on the shower room threshold. No Uber, no indrive there so the manager there arranged us a poor Hyundai sedan at US$ 55 for the afternoon and evening. US$ 120 from Abu Simbel to Aswan with an Hyundai SUV which is better than the sedan. The normal price is only around less than US$ 40 in total. It’s a robbery. Poor breakfast that I don’t even want to complain if compared with other treatment.

The hotel is really beautiful and clean. Hany was great. Despite the roads being closed at night for tourists, he managed to find a solution for us to reach the hotel. He also organized the most amazing sunrise tour to the temples, only for the two of us, which ended up being our most memorable experience. Thanks so much to Hany for making our stay so special!

Some areas are not really well maintained like for example the piers. There’s spiderwebs everywhere and just looks really abandoned but this might be because we were there in shoulder season

It is clean and huge

It is close to the airport and far away from Abu simbel village and temples. You have no option than having your lunch dinner at the hotel… which was expensive and not good.

Located within deserted and rugged landscape in secluded area. It surrounded by airport and military-type facilities.
