Overall, we had a pleasant experience, with friendly staff and comfortable accommodations.

We had a little surprise with dinner charge from our first night, We were charged 6191.50 EGP ($122 USD) for 4 people. We arrived at the hotel late that evening, around 9:15 PM. After checking in, the staff informed us at approximately 9:30 PM that the restaurant was still open and that we could have dinner. Unfortunately, no one mentioned that the dinner was not included in our stay or provided any information about the cost per person beforehand. When we got to the restaurant, it was near the end of the buffet service, and there was very little food remaining. We ate only a small portion of what was available. There was a lack of communication about the additional cost and its amount, and the limited food availability at the time only adds to the disappointment. For context, a meal at one of the best fish restaurants in Abu Simbel costs less than 1500 EGP (30$) for four people. This makes the 6200 EGP charge we had very excessive.

Exceptional hotel and amenities with the most friendly and helpful staff. They upgraded our double room to a suite which was well received! Breakfast was excellent as well and the pool was very clean. We would highly recommend it. Thanks to Peter, Mr. Yosri and the team at Azal Lagoons Resort!

Very Nice hotel although a bit far from center of the Town . Thx to mr Peter who was very kind. We were upgraded in à suite and our stay was very nice. The food was also Very nice.
