Apple Pony Inn

The inn was immaculate, well-maintained. The innkeepers were delightful - they were helpful with recommendations and information on local sights; they bent over backwards to accommodate a food allergy, and they were available at odd hours if we had a problem (after 10 PM one night we couldn't get the door lock code to work - they stayed on the phone with us until we got in.) The grounds are beautiful and the view of the mountain from the porch is unbeatable. State College and the university were a quick 10 min. drive. You cannot go wrong at this inn!

We really enjoyed our stay here. This getaway definitely met our expectations and then some. The hosts were very welcoming. The house was very beautiful, very clean, good lighting and a lot of open spaces. Breakfast was amazing! You could tell how passionate they were. My husband and I will definitely come back again!

Beautiful spot and close to everything. Beautifully decorated and inviting. Hosts very friendly and welcoming and made a delicious breakfast. Meticulously clean. comfy bed. Every detail thought of!

The property is peaceful and it’s nice to be able to escape the “college town” feel. The room was very nice and cosy and all the breakfasts were great.

I wish they had an outdoor fire pit and being able to purchase a beer or two would be great to enjoy the awesome fall weather. Having checkout at 1100 would also be great.
