Difficult to reach location as it’s in a beautiful area of Glencar, a tiny village up the mountains. Staff were exceptionally warm and friendly and went above and beyond.
Very quiet, good facilities, food is good, bar and restaurant on the premises, located in the middle of the hills in the middle of the Ring of Kerry.
USOn Day 2 of the Kerry Way out of Kilarney, I think this is only one of two places to stay. The rooms are fine and the pub underneath is good/fun (as is the breakfast). I'm primarily writing because the staff was so helpful to me and my wife after an injury at the end of the day's hike. My wife injured her arm from a fall (we later found out it was broken) about 5 in the afternoon on a Friday. There are no real emergency services near Glencar. The staff organized us a taxi to get back to Kilarney (where we picked up our car and proceeded to Tralee Emergency room). They made sure we could back into our room in the middle of the night (2 a.m. return from hospital), and gave us extra time in the morning to sleep in and get our act together. They truly helped us during a very stressful 24 hours.

Easy to find with friendly staff, the room was very clean with an amazing view and is only a short journey to the mountains. Made it back for dinner and the food is delicious with plenty of choice. Will be back to explore the area as I only stayed for one night. Thank you for a great visit
Excellent two bedroom flat with great bar and restaurant below . Good mixture of locals and climbers . We even met three local moth men searching for rare moths ! Great location for climbing the Reeks and walking Kerry way . Guinness great and we had great steak sarnies and lamb .
Internet service was not working. Poor air circulation in room made it hot.
Die Unterkunft ist sehr abgelegen. Wenn man die Umgebung drum herum anschauen möchte perfekt. Man braucht definitiv ein Auto und sollte vorsichtig fahren da die Straßen es schon ihn doch haben. Das Hotel hat auch eigenen kleinen Shop falls man abends was knabbern möchte ☺️👍
Owners were amazing and friendly. I left my purse and they found it and held it in the safe for me u til I got back. The drive to and from the hotel amazing but drive slowly lol. Overall the hotel was a wonderful Ireland experience
