Loved my stay here. Very welcoming people. I was called by my name from moment I arrived felt right at home. Had food in the bar lunch & dinner both really good. Plenty of chaty locals in the bar ,pints where good . Room was really clean & modern ,bed comfy. Great cooked breakfast by staff with a smile can't be beaten. Only downside I wasn't there for another day.

Awesome place to stop after your climb! Super friendly and even had a little store next door. Also had a post office, a hostel, a pool table. Close to all the hikes. Go for a celebratory beer! Would definitely go back! Beautiful views here, as well
IEIt's rare nowadays to find a truly authentic Irish country pub with a good atmosphere and a really genuine warm welcome - but that's exactly what you get at The Climbers Inn!! Only stayed one night though - warm welcome - good food - great drink - good local crowd in watching the county semi-final created a genuine atmosphere - rooms were spotless and the showers were very good and just what we needed to refresh after a long day in the mountains. Breakfast was excellent. Great value Highly recommended
BEThe hike from Black Valley to Glencar can be tough, especially when the weather is not ideal. The Climbers Inn is located on the Kerry Way, and offers dinner, breakfast, and comfortable rooms with a hot shower. There is a small shop for supplies, a pub and post office. We slept here in august 2022 when hiking the Kerry Way, and were happy with the cold pints of Guinness and the very tasty (and large) breakfast after a good nights rest.
GBStayed in the climbers Inn as had travelled down to hike the Coomloughra Horseshoe. You receive a true Irish welcome and nothing is too much trouble for the ladies who look after you. Food was fab and very quickly served. Rooms were very nicely decorated and clean. Bathroom was clean and the shower was amazing, great pressure and unlimited hot water. Tv in the room and adequate place for clothing. Would most definitely stay here again.
Stayed here after my granddaughters christening. Rooms are lovely and comfortable… staff are just so friendly and welcoming… breakfast was fab too and the POT of coffee was so welcomed by me on the Sunday morning after the night before… highly recommended will stay again
We have just completed a fundraising climb of Carrauntohill and stayed in the Climbers inn for 2 nights. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay there. The staff and owners are very genuine people. The rooms are very comfortable, the food is excellent and the place has a real atmosphere about it. Plus the Guinness is superb. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Well done all at the Climbers inn.
Stayed with 3 friends. Good choice of food given it wasnt peak season. Staff very friendly. Rooms were nice and clean. Shower powerful with loads of hot water. Nice full Irish with loads of tea/coffee before a day in the mountains. Its perfect budget accommodation.
