Destiny Student - Broga House Cork

This is a unique place to stay. It was reasonably priced for the city. An easy walk to the shopping, restaurants and the English Market. Laundry was easy to use. It is not a quiet stay but it is safe and friendly.

Een bijzonder leuke kamer,doe alleen te heet werd door slechte ventilatie! Verder prima maar wel te duur 650 voor 1 week!

La struttura non è un hotel ma un alloggio studenti. La camera è davvero piccola per due persone. Letto da una piazza e mezzo dove non entrano neanche due cuscini. Con le valigie è davvero difficile stare comodi. Bagno piccolissimo, scarico della doccia lento tanto da far rimanere i piedi a bagno. Lavandino piccolissimo. Forniscono un asciugamano a testa che deve essere usato per tutto (doccia, capelli, viso). Se se ne richiedono altri costano 5 euro. Buono per una persona in viaggio da sola e per una notte.

I would really like to thank the staff at the reception - they were all completely brilliant! Very warm and engaged - it was a pleasure to be there because of them. Location is great. It is quiet and safe and at the same time has great restaurants and bars as well as the city center nearby. Depeche coffee bar is brilliant!! On to the room - they have an infographic poster hanging in there explaining how things work. Among other things, they mention that guests should manage their expectations, since this is a student house and not a hotel! And this is no joke!:) The room itself was very basic and small but totally fine, although a bit dusty. The bed and the bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand was like on board of a cruise ship (plastic walls and weird floor) and smelled badly all the time. But it was clean! I guess I was particularly unlucky with the room location as it was on the ground floor with windows/door right on a courtyard through which everyone goes all the time and right by the entrance into the block with an entrance door that does not have soft close and gets involuntarily slammed every time someone gets in/out. Even with ear plugs the commotion can be heard. But during the night people were quiet. The cool part were the good shared spaces - a fully equipped kitchen, ping-pong and pool tables and a nice lounge. The furniture in there was a bit worn and it was not exactly clean, but altogether nice.

Ero già stato in questa struttura lo scorso anno. Si tratta di uno studentato universitario che viene trasformato in hotel durante il periodo estivo. Il letto è un po' piccolo per due persone, ma la struttura è recentissima, per cui è tutto in buono stato. È suddivisa in appartamenti da 7/8 camere che hanno a disposizione una cucina che può essere utilizzata per la colazione, il pranzo e la cena. Sono tornato quest'anno e tornerei nuovamente, se dovessi tornare a Cork
