HM Bavaro Beach – Adults Only

Overall great stay! We arrived at the very rainy day and there was flooding around the street but that's more area issue. The hotel is beautiful, especially great when you get room with the ocean view. We loved the pool areas most! The beach chairs need update but we never used them because we walked on the beach and stayed on the balcony. The Sky bar is better than Italian restaurant. It was avarage, however nice service. Would stay again this hotel.

from the moment i arrived at the front desk for checkin the staff was there to make me feel welcome from the complimentary freshly-squeezed juice cocktail that i was handed to the champagne and fruit plate waiting for me in my room...great location, great room, great service = a great stay! the awesome rooftop sushi bar and infinity pool was where i spent the most time. the only minor blemish was the outdated shower hardware which needs replacement, otherwise and excellent value for travelers!

Our stay was truly enjoyable, thanks to the attentive staff and delicious breakfast that exceeded expectations each morning. We loved the intimate infinity pool and the serene adults-only pool areas, perfect for unwinding. The room itself was bright, comfortable, and featured a spacious balcony that we enjoyed. However, while the bathroom could use a bit of an update, it was generally clean. We did notice some hidden dust under the bed and furniture, which could be improved. The beach setup was a bit of a letdown, as it’s shared with a family hotel, so it didn’t feel completely adults-only, as we’d hoped. Despite these minor drawbacks, we had a wonderful time overall and would happily return for another stay!

Great place, not great location. Staff is great

The amount out cleaning this staff does is amazing! It was so clean they do a great job taking care of the property! The staff was very nice and accommodated our needs, as our AC stopped working both nights and the power went out everyday, and we got stuck in the elevator. I wish I had known that even though we stayed at an all adult hotel, they share the beach with the hotel across the street which kids are aloud to be on the beach so it didn’t really feel to much like adult only. The only other thing about the beach is there are a ton of boats right next to where you’re sitting, it didn’t bug us but I thought I would add it to the comment. The vendors outside your hotel and on the beach are constantly trying to get you to buy their product, or take the tours, it was actually so annoying by the last day I was excited to leave and not get bombarded by the people, and they are everywhere. You literally can’t walk down the road or sit on the beach. I did feel very safe here and walking around there were a lot of different options for food and also a lot of live bands which was very nice!

Great stay overall. Some minor issues with the AC unit when we checked in but the staff was super fast in changing us rooms. Rooms are recently redone so they are nice, clean and new. We were welcomed with a bottle of bubbly in the room which was a nice touch. Rooms are spacious and the hotel is at the water so that's an extra cool detail. Only unfortunate part is that to walk into the city area, it's a bit dark and can get a bit tricky If there was rain as the street floods, but that is not the hotels fault. Has 2 pools and 2 onsite restaurants with great service. Breakfast is also very much worth it. Will 100% come back.

Our first stay at the new HM Bavaro Beach hotel. The check in process was a bit ennoying as I already checked in online. The room 1101 with pool view is of very nice design but poorly finished craftmenship. Vertical light switch in bathroom falsely horizontal installed visible to break soon. Sharp edges at beds that easily can cause injuries. Both AC and TV remote control had dead batteries but got replaced immediately. No private parking, parking space on the street is limited. The location on the beach, the roof bar with pool, the excellent breakfast, the friendliness of the staff immediately made up for the not so good first impression.

Excellent hotel, good food and beach.will be back again.

This is a very nice small hotel with an AMAZING infinity pool on the roof overlooking the beach! Great for people watching. Lots of great local places to eat within walking distance. Rooms are clean with comfy beds and a great ocean view. Beach is typical for the Atlantic side. You dont get that beautiful blue color and there is a fair amount of sargassem/sea grass.Staff was AMAZING! We enjoyed our 7 day stay.
