Selat Al Bait Hotel

Staff is very humbled and supportive.

The parking wasn't enough didn't found parking in hotel.

We stayed at Selat Al Bait Hotel and overall had a mixed experience. The staff was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The waiters in the restaurant were especially friendly and helpful. The housekeeping team was very kind and did a great job keeping everything clean, and the laundry service was excellent – a real plus during our stay. We also appreciated the daily availability of dates, small cakes, and water in the lobby.

On the downside, there were a few important issues. Unfortunately, there was no shuttle service to Masjid al-Haram during our stay, which was a significant inconvenience. The hotel is more than a 30-minute walk away, and the route is not very safe or comfortable. As a result, we had to rely on taxis every day, which added extra costs. While this may not be entirely the hotel’s fault, it is still important to mention. Additionally, it was disappointing that we were unable to get coffee in the lobby at any time. It always seemed unavailable or not operational, which felt like a missed opportunity for a hotel service.

Outstanding breakfast staff and food quality

Shuttle service was not available we were told this service temporarily on hold but they said will be resumed after Haj I hope

We arrived early and they accommodated us to check in as early as they could allow. We changed plans and checked out a day earlier. Manager kindly refunded the last night. Large breakfast selection. Good room facilities. Digital facilities. TV, fridge in room. Near lots of shops. Costs around 10-15 riyals taxi to haram from the hotel. Could have walked around 20 mins but had young kids with us. Very good value for money.

No iron. However the did have in house ironing facilities that you could pay for separately

Rooms were clean and tidy with all amenities, free parking and great breakfast included.

The washroom size was small.
