Signagi Glamping

The views over the valley are absolutely stunning and are by far the property’s biggest asset. The setting is peaceful, the bed was comfortable, and the overall concept has a lot of potential.

Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t justify the €95/night price. The shower looked poorly maintained, with visible rust, worn seals, exposed pipes and makeshift repairs. More importantly, there was no hot water either in the evening or the following morning, so we couldn’t shower at all. The advertised private jacuzzi was also misleading. It is essentially a large wooden tub with a hose around the bottom rather than a real jacuzzi. It takes around five hours to fill to the maximum fill line (which is only about 70% of its total capacity), making it impractical for a one-night stay. After an hour it was only around 10% fully full, and the bubble system wasn’t even working. Breakfast only starts at 10:00 a.m., which is unusually late. We had to leave at 9:30, so we paid for a breakfast we never had the opportunity to enjoy.

Very welcoming and very helpful and attentive host. We felt very welcome. The location is perfect.
