The pool was wonderfull.

The staff, the food and the bar needs a little more attention from management.

The layout of the hotel is great, the pool is relaxing and the surrounding gardens are beautiful. The rooms are spacious and comfy beds. The breakfast choice was excellent although the service for this was hit and miss (see below). The staff are very friendly.

Whilst we understand and get we are in Zanzibar and it’s all “pole pole”, we did have serious issues with the organisation of breakfast. I genuinely don’t like to complain but the Service on the first/ second day started off good, and almost set a standard for what we thought it would be like for rest of the week. However it just got so bad at the end of our stay. Totally disorganised, asking for tea/coffee two or three times and despite a “yes I’ll bring it” it never came. Hot food arriving with no cutlery been laid down so we had to eat with our hands one morning as we waited so so long for someone to bring us cutlery (after asking 3/4times). One persons fruit coming out and not anyone’s else’s (despite asking for it to come and waiting a long time). We would repeatedly wait and wait and then ask and ask and always be told yeh I’ll bring and things just weren’t brought. No cups for tea/ coffee, no sugar , no juice , or two juices not 4 etc etc. It’s like there was no real system for breakfast. It just felt so disorganised. So my feedback is for breakfast service! Also the first night we were there, there was a couple of very drunk people in the pool shouting all night despite signs saying pool is closed after 10pm. That kept us awake on and off till 5am. The rooms need more hooks for towels.

Mój pobyt w Sand Beach Boutique Hotel na Zanzibarze był prawdziwą perełką wakacyjnych wspomnień. Obiekt zachwyca swoją tropikalną atmosferą, gdzie pięknie utrzymany ogród z palmami, bujną roślinnością i kwiatami tworzy naturalną oazę spokoju — idealną do relaksu po dniu spędzonym na plaży. Pokoje były przestronne, nowocześnie urządzone i codziennie starannie sprzątane, co dodatkowo podnosi komfort pobytu.  Śniadania były pyszne i różnorodne, a restauracja serwowała także świeże dania lokalne i owoce morza — każdy posiłek to była przyjemność.  Dodatkowym atutem jest piękny basen otoczony zielenią, gdzie można się ochłodzić i wypocząć w cieniu palm. Obsługa zasługuje na szczególne wyróżnienie — serdeczna, pomocna i uśmiechnięta, zawsze gotowa doradzić, pomóc w wynajmie auta czy zorganizowaniu wycieczki po wyspie.

For some reason the reviews in Zanzibar seems to overrate the hotels, possibly because they want their holiday to tick all the boxes for their social media? Anyway - some nuance Personel - a 10 Rooms and hotel - a 9 Food - a 7 Location - a 8. Quiet but far away from other restaurants etc

But… The main issue is the constant, monotonous noice during the day is unbearable, if music had been selected instead of the annoying drum beat and volume been lower it would work, but the repetitive sound all day does not match the quiet location, that is kind of the point for a hotel away from the more busy part of the beach imho.

-Ужасный запах в номере и особенно в туалете. Круглосуточно пахнет канализацией. Нормально спать с таким запахом и вообще наслаждаться отдыхом из-за этого невозможно. Проблемы с канализацией чувствуются и на всей территории отеля, у бассейна тоже периодически появлялся этот отвратительный запах :( Менеджмент отеля никаким образом не участвует в решении этих проблем. Они изображают, что не понимают, в чем проблема, и даже не пытаются как-то решить её. -Вода в ванной комнате (и в кране, и в душе) бьется током! Это указывает на неисправности проводки и может быть опасно!!! -Перебои с электричеством. Кондиционер может перестать работать в любой момент, а на улице 30 градусов жары, без кондиционера могут выживать только местные. -На ресепшен и на втором этаже, где проходит завтрак, очень жарко и куча насекомых (мухи, муравьи и т.д.), с которыми никто даже не пытается бороться. - В номере нет одеял, только простыни. В двухкомнатном номере кондиционер есть только в одной из комнат. -Интернета практически нет. Не грузятся даже мессенджеры. -В целом персонал равнодушен к комфорту гостей отеля. Когда мы заехали, нас никто нормально не поприветствовал, не сказали даже базовой краткой информации об отеле и его услугах: в какое время и где завтрак, как дойти до пляжа, где взять полотенца и др. На гостей всем наплевать. В день чек-аута уже в 10:30 утра пришли к нам со словами, что пора бы нам уезжать (а это было 1 января, Новый год), так как уже подъехали следующие клиенты и чем раньше мы съедем, тем лучше)) Хотя официальный чек-ин у них указан не ранее 14:00, то есть по идее то, что следующие гости приехали раньше времени, не должно быть поводом для нашего преждевременного отъезда). -Обратите внимание, что на Booking.com у этого отеля много однотипных положительных отзывов (особенно из Румынии),в которых написано, как прекрасно всё работает, какой хороший интернет и т.д. Это не соответствует действительности!
