Alles ist tipptopp! Der Weg zur Lodge ist etwas „anspruchsvoll“ für Selbstfahrer aber machbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen ist sehr gut!

Super tente et piscine

On ne peut pas se baigner le matin car ils traitent la piscine. Restaurant trop petit du coup on doit manger dehors dans le noir le soir

They don’t hve an emergency transport at the hotel for Safari near the camp If you wanna go there better book a full package with the hotel, from the beginning( airport pick) till the end…

Warning: there is no access to Lake Manyara National Park through this hotel because the south gate of Lake Manyara is closed permanently!! The hotel doesn’t warn about this in their description, and this is crazy. I spent 2,5 hours getting to this hotel, only to learn that I’ll need to go back the way I came the next day, and I couldn’t go to Lake Manyara Park because of the time lost on the road. Also, the facilities of the hotel are okay, but not fantastic, so it’s not worth the price.

This is a challenging review to write. The property is lovely and the staff was kind-though limited in their ability to resolve the issues. If you are looking for secluded, beautiful and restful, this could be the place for you. However it is located far from any town and further from many of the sites we chose to visit. It was billed as the “perfect location” from which to explore Tarangire and Manyara NPs, but in truth it is a couple of hours from either one of these. Further, they seem only to be associated with one company for game drives and that company has all of their staff and vehicles in Arusha, another three hours away! Having said all of the above, both companies refunded our payments for an early departure and a game drive misunderstanding. I did very much appreciate their attention to these matters and do not know of anything more they could have done. Food was very good, including our picnic boxes for the game drive we did do the day we left. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained including a lovely pool area. Just be sure if you book here that you’re aware of the challenges from being too far to some sites you may want to explore from here.
