Bathroom floor boards were rotten. Toilet bowl nearly fell over when being used. Bathroom is dangerous.

Room was basic but very clean with comfy beds and easy self check in (as we arrived after 9pm). Tea/coffee facilities and whilst the bathroom was small, the towels were lovely and thick and exceeded our expectations! We literally just wanted somewhere to stop to break our journey and this was perfect for what we needed - at an incredible price! Will definitely book again next year

The corner shower was a bit squeezy, but the water was hot and pressure was great.

Unfortunately, no food was being served.

The room decor felt somewhat tired. There was flaking paint, particularly on the doors. The bathroom waste bin had not been emptied and was full of used ladies' sanitary products. The walls are thin, and you hear a lot from the neighbouring room (see another review about Room 8). I would've gone into the pub for an evening drink, but it just stunk of cigarette smoke, which put me off.

Friendly staff and location to the pre historic sites. Not far from supermarkets . And a quite bar to have a pint.Value for money.

Reasonably priced, good sized room and comfortable bed. Tea and Coffee making facilities included. Good pub with live music and friendly staff.

The shower was tiny, anyone above average in width wouldn't be able to close the door!

We got to stay in Room 8 for our visit! The room was large and had a comfortable and cosy atmosphere which meant our stay was filled with good sleep and space to organise ourselves! After the first night I had requested the room be serviced and this was done well. We had had to rush out in the morning so the room was a little hectic but when we came back the bed was made good as new and the coffee and tea was perfectly topped up- as well as that we were given clean mugs and spoons. The stay was arranged due to us having to attend a funeral and our room was a great get away from the stress and meant we could fully relax in the evenings in peace. Check in and check out was very easy to navigate too!

My only concern would be the bathroom facilities. The toilet seat did slide around a little- and on the second morning we woke up to the bathroom having a very fowl yet bizarre smell. We put it down to a potential drains issue but just something to keep an eye on as it became very unpleasant. As this was the morning we were leaving we did not report it.

Close you family

Rooms are tired, old pine furniture. Bed comfortable could do with more pillows. Shower door base minging with I would hate to think what with.. shower head could be replaced. Emergency light in bedroom is huge and lit up the whole room like leaving the main light on so had disturbed sleep. No breakfast option. No where to leave room key, left in a basket my the door into reception and messaged them.
