Prope Mare Apartamentos

Prope Mare is a beach lovers accommodation. The building is a small complex of four levels with apartments and balconies with beach/sea views. If you want full beach front view you must specify and pay accordingly. Otherwise you may face another hotel with pool streetside and remain to have a side view at the lovely sandy beach in Cala Millor. The building is very clean and well maintained. It tends to be occupied by families, friends and some couples. The friendly Xisca is a good representative for this business and she communicates well. The apartment has bathroom with tub/ shower. Kitchenette with two hobs, microwave, sink and refrigerator. Kitchen pans, plates, utensils all clean and provided. Tables/chairs for dining indoor and on balcony. Sofa with bed is uncomfortable and dated. Arm chair is much the same as sofa. Air conditoning and heating are available when you are present in the apartment for wise energy use. Television and average internet is also in place which works best inside of the apartment. There is no swimming pool here because you are practically at the beach! Car park is not available. You must devise your own parking if you are bringing a car. Being beach towels/ parasols with you. It makes for an easy getaway and ideal for the beach-lover. You are also close to the main shopping and entertainment areas. It can be noisy above a restaurant and area hotels entertaining guests. For us, the noise was not a bother.

Excellent studio apartment with a balcony over looking the beach. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning was perfect. L’or coffee machine in kitchen which was a nice surprise. The apartment is in a fantastic location, right next to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars etc. Seamless check in online which was great for us as we arrived late. Xisca was very helpful and organised a bus transfer from the airport which was also perfect. I would highly recommend this apartment especially if you want comfort, views and to be close to everything.

Location and the view are amazing. Lost of shops and restaurants near. A minute walk to the beach. More then enough space for two, large balcony.

The kitchen was modestly equipped. If we were to cook on vacation, we would have big problems. Minor problems with cockroaches...

Location and view are very good. The apartment is a good size for 2 people, but the facilities are only OK. With investment they could be excellent. The bedroom was a good size and the beds are comfortable. I'd recommend for a short stay 2/3 nights only. No washing machine provided and there wasn't a change of bedlinen / towels mid stay. We had to go to a local laundry service.

The Bathroom is very dated. The shower was in a bathtub, the water pressure was poor. The lighting was poor. Kitchen is basic. Really only suitable for tea and sandwich preparation. No coffee machine provided.

It's so close to the beach. And everything else. Xisca was very helpful with everything we needed.

The apartment needs a little maintenance, roof panel damaged curtains pulled off rail, cooker not working ( hot plate supplied immediately). But it didn't spoil our stay.
