Fukuchani Inn Hotel

Lovely location short walk from beautiful beach. Excellent hosts. Beautifully clean with full breakfast included. Restaurant food good and reasonably priced. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend as a stopover to / from Nungwi. Local swimming caves nearby too.

Hübsches kleines Hotel mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern, Zimmer sind groß und bequem, der Pool ist toll. Im Restaurant ist eine gute Auswahl zu günstigen Preisen. Man kann in Euro, Dollar oder Schilling zahlen. Strand ist in Laufnähe, baden nur bei Hochwasser.

Everything is just outstanding. From the cleanliness of the rooms, to the welcoming sense of the staff. It was such a pleasure to stay in this hotel I would choose it again everybtime I visit Zanzibar. I like also to specially mention Hassan from the reception. He was so helpful and kind.

Enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are very clean, the pool is large the food is good and reasonably priced. The hotel is isolated and their are no restaurants or bars near by which wasn't a problem for us . Enjoyed our stay..

Frendly owners, nice and clean room, AC, fan, refrigerator...pool, almost as privat, usually not many people using. Good breakfast and best fresh juice... Vladimir prepared for us delicious fish dinner for Christmas. Thanks again. After Sun burn Vladimir'ѕ wife supported us with fresh Aloe from yard.

There is not much to be complaining if you are aware staying in Africa. Life is diferent. Sometimes electricity goes off, and wi-fi is not the best. But that is out of owners hands. Maybe some improvement with hotel staff, when Vladimir is not around they can't do much.

This was the perfect place for me. I stayed here for 7 nights. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. A lovely swimmingpool is a bonus. The food is tasty! The location is peaceful and scenic in nature. I do bird photography and got great pictures in the nearby bush. A short walk away is the Fukuchani ruins and a natural turtle aquarium which is not a paid attraction like the others in the area. One of my favourite locations in Zanzibar. You are away from the bustle of restaurants and beaches, but they are easy to reach in Kendwa and Nungwi by taxi. I had a scooter rental which made it easier. Thank you Vladimir and staff!

This place is AMAZING! I have been to Zanzibar the second time now and would stay again in Fukuchani Inn Hotel if coming back. People working there are so sweet and the owner always prepared to help. The breakfast was very tasty and they make great dinners&coctails too. The area is nice, local, there are some small shops around and only 10min walk to the beach, where you can be alone or in a good company of children. Having a pool just next to the big, comfortable room was perfect too. Recommended 100%.
