I was surprised at the cleanliness and comfort of the room, amazing for its price. I am a clean freak and honestly I couldn’t fault the room in any way. It had all essentials you need, towels, robe, microwave, fridge, kettle, cutlery and plates. Bed was really comfy too, if you prefer a firmer mattress not the one that sinks. So quite happy with the room. I was at the top floor, which I would also recommend to others.

A bit of a elevated walk up the hill to the hotel but its not bad, just something to consider. No elevator so carrying suitcases and bags was a bug difficult so just take that into account but its a minor inconvenience in my opinion.

I can’t recomment this accommodation to people with asthma or sensitivity to strong smells. The description says it’s non-smoking throughout but it’s not true. Every time someone smoked in their room, the smoke travelled under the door to the corridor and into my room. I talked to a staff member about this and, although her English was extremely poor, I think she meant she can’t do anything about the smell because some of the rooms are smoking rooms. She advised me to sleep with the balcony door open which would have been impossible given it was like +3 degrees celcius outside at night. Also, since the area looks a bit rough from the outside, probably mice would have entered the room. The bathroom has a very strong smell as well (if you forget to close it while you’re away the whole room smells like carbage) and there were small ants in the room which was unpleasant.
