The staff person who made our arrival and check in super difficult. Totally incompetent and careless. Dont even know its written Alden hotel outside the building. Gave us totally false information about parking and valet.

Staff was very nice and supportive The Restaurant/Bar in the hotel is very good It is close to the beach and bus stop is just in front of the door to get to South Beach and to Miami

Walls are very thin, you hear everything The bathroom sink is so small that as soon as you turn on the faucet, the whole bathroom floods

I like the location of the property. For $20 you can go to their sister property and sit on a private area of the beach.

This property although in a prominent Miami Beach location is very lackluster to be a Marriott. The room had pictures that we’re on the wall crooked had hooks for pictures that weren’t there. The elevator can only accommodate two people carrying one luggage each. There’s only one elevator the ice had to come from the restaurant which you had to go get. There was a refrigerator, which was cool. You have to pay for street parking eight hours is about $25 and from 3 AM to 8 AM. They don’t require you to pay for parking so that was our only saving grace on paying $50 every day for street parking. The bed duvet look to have had some type of decorations on the sheets, but I think that it was just lumpy sheets. The bed was uncomfortable. If I lay too close to the edge, I might’ve rolled off because the edges were not for him. Everybody talks about the sink, which is super super super small like a water fountain. You could hear people in every room. You can hear people in the hallway our first night they’re a lady was fussing in her room down four or five doors but her conversation with her very clearly. It just wasn’t a good stay. We only stayed two nights in the second day, they didn’t even clean our room.

It was all I needed. Close to the beach easy accessor the rest of Miami.

Great location in a quiet area, within walking distance to Ocean Drive. The partnered parking option is very convenient. Hotel’s restaurant has a limited but tasty menu.

Rooms are small and not very clean

Staff at reception were very helpful, went over and above to answer all our queries and were very knowledgeable.
