Staff, old carpet gave bad smell

My daughter and her friends had a good time. It was my daughters 10th birthday. The kids also had fun in the pool.

I did not like that when I called room service for towels and rags, I never got them. The hotel was not cheap so I feel the service should have been better! Then, I explained the situation to the manager and he questioned me as if I was lying! As a manager, you never do that to a customer! I am a nurse practitioner and I would never treat a customer like that! I stayed with this hotel on more than one occasion. I will never stay at this hotel again!

the restaurant is extremely expensive and only opens at 930am . The valet is not included and extremely expensive as well, but the excellent service in both establishments.

no dishwasher soap or washing machine soap, no paper towels, minimal toilet paper. no service for cleaning of rooms , at the price we paid we could have had housekeeping , cheap move by the hotel. AC was either too cold or off , telephone did not work, multiple lights did not work. no hand towels supplied for the kitchen , extremely minimal glasses and plates and cooking equipment the absolute bare minimum.... no salt and pepper shakers.

The beach was kind of close but still a long walk.

The beach was full of seaweed and access to the beach was a pretty long walk about 1 mile. Customer service for all areas including the reception, security, waiter staff and bell service was very rude and treated me like I was an inconvenience for them to attend to my requests. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable.
