In small towns you get what is available. This motel served the purpose of sleeping and showering. The room is not very big. The bed was comfortable and the room appeared updated. I would highly recommend they put a folding chair in the back corner next to the table so there is some place to sit down. Not everyone can sit on beds to put on shoes or boots. Since we had a few hours to kill, we sat outside for a bit, until the sun was going down. Man at front desk was interesting and didn't seem to like to be bothered. We had issues with our toilet which my husband sought help with and ended up fixing himself with tools borrowed from the staff.
If you’re looking for a tiny (5 room) road side place to sleep this motel serves that purpose. It’s about a 40 minute to the entrance of Sequoia and there are no services near by. Host was very pleasant.
The gas furnace was running all night long. The carbon dioxide sensor was removed, only the housing was removed. massacre. I will never stay here again. I have photos and documentation, I will report it further. dangerous place
Very quaint place, just what we were after.
Cigarette butts everywhere. Hotel checkin and ice room reeked of cigarette smoke. No dead bolt on door. Shower water pressure was extremely low. Water was either scalding hot or freezing cold.
Simple and sweet; comfortable. Tea, relaxing. Coffee to wake up with.
Looks can be deceiving It was a Wonderful place clean and quiet nice to sit outside in a lovely country setting Gentleman who checked us in was helpful and gave us a great suggestion for dinner
Great place to sleep while visiting the area
Very irresponsible and unprofessional. We waited for more than an hour outside the motel office to check in but never got response even after dozens of calls, ringing doorbell and knocking office door. We could see TV playing inside, but no one responded to us. We eventually had to book another hotel miles away in the middle of the night, and they never even called us back.
Floor was not level. No hot water heater barely worked.
