Dorje's Resort and Spa

Dorje’s resort is a beautiful resort close to Pokhara town but far away enough to escape the hectic city life. We stayed for a week here and enjoyed relaxing at the pool after a huge week of hiking. The room is extraordinary and very larger and comfy. The bed is comfortable, the linen soft and the mattress not too firm nor too soft. We enjoyed taking a bath with the view. The food is wonderful and the bar area is nice and quiet for a relaxing cocktail and bites. Our breakfast was excellent and the coffees one of the best we had in Nepal. What made our stay even more enjoyable was the extreme friendliness of the staff. You can tell they love their job and have been absolutely fantastic to us the entire week. We used the laundry service too which was great too and the jacuzzi at the pool with a margarita is also a good recommendation:) lastly, the massages at the hotel were very soothing and professional too. We felt divine afterwards. I won’t hesitate to book this resort in Pokhara for a restful and lovely stay!

Hard to say anything we didn’t like. Perhaps when you stay a week it would have been nice if they had offered to light the fires at the patio area or offered a barbecue night for the guest instead of having to book it exclusively. The same thing with the yoga room, we havent used it since it was only offered if you had used it exclusively and booked it privately, but maybe they can offer it as a group activity for guests staying longer at the resort. This is a minor suggestion so definitely not meaning to give any negative feedback. The hotel is perfect in every way, just a suggestion.

I propose this to all i know, it was a super team comprising of Hem, Sam, Chetan,Kirthika and their entire support staff, never did we feel that we were unattended or helpless in any form.The spa, the food, the room, ambience, upkeep was a notch above, value for money in true sense
