The Acoma House

The room was absolutely beautiful. One of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed in. The property owners were in contact with me the entire stay via text to see if I needed anything.

Comfortable, convenient location, easy check in and out, lots of toiletries and water bottles, everything you could need for an easy stay in Denver

Terrible. I didn’t stay there. I thought it had a proper lobby so would have a front desk. I arrived early, door was locked, no lobby, no staffed front desk, several stairs with no ramp (I’m 77 and can’t drag my heavy suitcase up stairs). No way to get in early and leave my bag. No one answered a phone. Determined it wasn’t going to be suitable for my stay.

Didn’t like what I just described. Later called—she said she’d cancel and not charge me but I would have to deal with Booking.com. Then didn’t honor her agreement and changed the story, not telling the truth. See emails for story. Stayed down street at Art Hotel—a proper hotel. Photos looked like a lobby to me. I use Booking.Com a lot but they didn’t help here or back me up.

I have seen the future of hotels. A one of a kind property with each room decorated by a different artist, so a singular experience. No traditional front desk, but mobile check-in and an efficient messaging system that provides exterior door and guest room access codes eliminate all the friction from the typical arrival process. HOT water in the shower. A large refrigerator, microwave and toaster. Plates, glasses and utensils - like you would find in an extended stay property. A Torchy's Tacos is open late across the street... Forget or need something? A utility cabinet has not only extra towels, soap, toothbrushes, extra coffee/tea pods, bottles of water, etc. but charging cords and other conveniences available to borrow and return. The most outstanding aspect was that housekeeping is not only on demand, but they asked me what time would be convenient to clean my room. Having stayed in Four Seasons, Ritz-Carltons, Mandarin Orientals, etc. This was the FIRST time I was ever asked in advance what time I would like my room cleaned. In summary, a well-located, exceptionally unique property that provides exceptional service by eliminating all the traditional guest-staff interactions that normally only benefit the hotel. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

You are seriously wasting your time if you are researching where to stay in Denver. The Acoma House was literally the most amazing boutique hotel I have ever stayed at. The cleanliness, unique rooms, privacy, and easiness of pretty much everything went beyond my expectations. The staff are extremely helpful and kind and the simplicity of the check in is easier than any hotel you will ever stay at. Highly is too pitty of a word to say how much I recommend the Acoma House. 10/10!

Something the Acoma House can literally not control. The person above was very loud, and I think stomped for a liviing but this is beyond the hotel's control. Besides that, absolutely could not tell you one thing that there was to dislike.
