Beautiful accommodation in a great location

Access to the rooms. The booking had said up a flight of stairs - NOT up an external, very steep fire-escape type of steps with flat metal steps and no risers to make taking cases up easier. This was followed by a very steep set of internal stairs with very small treads. Not easy for octogenarians. Although the two rooms I booked were next to each other, access from one to the other was down the steep stairs and then up a separate set of steep stairs. Booking.com only sent an email for one of the rooms to check in on-line. I had to contact you to ensure I got the access code to the second room.

Really lovely place to be, calming room extremely comfortable bed! The finishing touches ( light up remote, retro radio, organic hot drinks as an option, shows the owners want you to have a good experience! Would totally recommend and we will be back! The town is friendly welcoming! Simple a beautiful space to be in for the night.

Very cosy and right in the centre of Knutsford

Central location Bathroom Large comfy bed

Lighting , room was dark to get ready in Plane noise, but we knew that when we booked

Room was excellent, bed super comfy, great area for doing hair/makeup and coffee machine a bonus. Roll top Bath and shower were excellent- great water pressure

My only criticism would be that there was a smell of drains in the bathroom but given it is such an old building it’s probably to be expected
