Chakana Hotel Boutique Mariscal

Friendly staff, tasty food, great location.

Lovely small boutique property with comfortable, large rooms and king sized bed. The included breakfast was awesome (granola, yogurt, fruit, croissant, eggs, ham, cheese, and coffee or tea.) We did a day tour to Cotopaxi and they made us breakfast at 6:30am. The staff is super friendly and we had everything we needed. The attached restaurant is Andean fine dining and we had a delicious special dinner there.

The neighborhood is a bit run down and felt safe but not to walk at night. The hot water didn’t work more than a few minutes for showering. Pretty typical, but it was an issue, especially because everything else was so beautiful.

Everything! The owner and her team are incredible! They go out of their way to help. The Chef even helped with a heavy duffel bag, I’ve never seen hospitality like it and I work in the hotel industry. The food is incredible - breakfast, lunch and dinner and the chef at each meal period even delivers the food themself to explain each dish. English is widely spoken by the team also.

Evone’s hotel provides a “real” breakfast included. Eggs any style, fruit bowl, granola, yogurt, coffee, juice! She is personally almost always available and let us stay for a late checkout since our flight was very late in the evening. I would definitely stay there again.

No hair dryer. No TV.

We loved our stay at Chakana Hotel Boutique Mariscal! The design is beautiful and authentic, adding so much character to the experience. Breakfast was fantastic, and we appreciated the thoughtful packed breakfast for our early flight. We also had dinner at the restaurant, which was excellent. The manager was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even better. Highly recommend this charming hotel!

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant had delicious offerings.

It was very cold in my room and I was offered a space heater, which was very nice. I did not realize this hotel was in the center of the bar district and on a busy road. It was horribly noisy throughout the night from this street noise and barking dogs.

Very beautiful hotel! The decoration is great, and the staff very nice. We had a restful stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is the noise. I did stay on a weekend and the nightlife and street noises kept me up at night.
