Velmont Hotel

My stay at Velmont was incredible, I'd highlight these 3 top things about the Hotel that I liked the most: 1. There is a back-up generator for when the electricity goes off and the generator comes on in less than 5 minutes when there's a power cut, you'll thank me later for this information :-D 2. The hotel is conveniently located in a very safe neighborhood and it is easy to get to restaurants, supermarkets, gym, swimming pool, local food, hospitals, schools and clubs. 3. The host/manager Mohammed is always available on phone and quick to fix any issue you may have. He can also recommend how to navigate in Dar if you are new and need guidance. He also lived in Europe before which gives him a rich context about the travel experience to Dar es Salaam.

Everything was awesome. The hotel was completing (renovation) part of the outside sitting area while I was there but it did not disturb me. Looking forward to staying there again in the future with everything completed :-)

Very clean and new hotel with all facilities available: hot shower with good pressure, air condition, smart tv, fridge, security during the night and private parking for your own car!! Generator and water tank that here is a must to have!!!!! The mattress is new and very comfortable.The surrounding area is very quiet with friendly monkeys that comes to vist you 😉 the staff and the owner are very helpful for any request. Thanks to Rehema that every day can satisfy your wish for breakfast, thanks to the guy that help you any time! We felt home even because is pet friendly and we travel with our small one!!! Soon will be ready a new bar for guest to have breakfast!!! I really recommend this place!
