Bells Marina & Resort

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The boat dock had been repaired and was functional. The store was good and well stocked. Now for the restaurant!!! It was absolutely awful. We ate or should I say tried to eat one meal. I had country fried steak and could only eat maybe three bites. It was all gristle and tough. The Mac and cheese must have been left over from another day along with the mashed potatoes. Go shop, fish, stay, but don’t eat.

Nice spot close to a lake. We just needed a spot to stay while traveling but this place was very nice. Under new ownership and you can tell things are getting better and better with the building and grounds.

This place is absolutely fantastic. Especially loved the bed and pillows. Great hospitality and great service. We will definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Beautiful waterfront setting. Hotel was clean, but soundproofing was lacking. We could hear every step and movement in the adjacent rooms

The staff at check in were great. I was provided with a key to a room that appeared as if it was still occupied with an unmade bed and used linens. Went to the office and they advised cleaning staff had an emergency and they were unaware that the room was not clean. Next room they gave me a a coffee maker with the previous guest used coffee grounds still in it….There was some confusion about whether the room was prepaid and they wanted to charge my CC for a balance they said was still due. I provided a copy of the receipt from hotels.com to prove paid in full.

Interesting place. A recently renovated 12 unit hotel in a motor home resort. Spacious room with a nice bath. Very quiet with a view of the lake from the window. The lake is about 50 feet away. A peaceful place to spend the night. Highly recommend.

We were there for a weekend fishing trip. Property is apparently being upgraded from years of neglect or non use. I don't know the background so that is just as it appeared to me. The motel has been upgraded and the room was very nice. It was clean. Towels were sufficient and good quality as was the bedding. Store was fully stocked & any needed bait was available. Restaurant was pretty good for burgers and such. The people were very friendly. Boat ramp and dock was functional, though the dock itself had suffered from neglect. However, it was being improved. I didn't like the parking arrangement for boat trailer/vehicle. You have to park a ways from the ramp which is kind of a pain when launching and loading. Overall a positive experience, I'd go back.

Rooms are newly renovated and clean. Location and lake access was good.

Nice property. Comfortable beds, updated fixtures, and at a great price.
