The entire building is exceptionally clean. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is always someone at reception. I was quite comfortable during my stay. The restaurant is pretty good and the prices are decent. Breakfast always had options I liked (the coffee is instant, but I brought my own - there is hot water). The wifi was quite reliable and fast. There were a couple of power outages, but the hotel has emergency power. Water was usually hot for showering (6 out of 7 times). It is at the bus stand, so location is great for travel at odd times of the day.

It's AT the bus stand, and it's noisy. My room was on the side of the hotel, which wasn't so bad, but the restaurant was unbearable now and then. There are multiple calls to prayer blasting at the same time, music over speakers cranked to max, and some of the bus horns hitting decibles that could melt your eardrums. Fortunately, it's pretty quiet between 11pm and 5am. Loud seems pretty standard for all of Tanzania, so this isn't a fault of the hotel, but the location does play a factor.

Bathroom drainage.Requested a new room. TV didnt work. No batteries in remote.. Power failure nearly every day. Lift often out of action. Promised fridge didnt eventuate.
