TZA beautiful and tranquil location overlooking the coast with a lovely infinity pool makes Kileleni a perfect spot to relax on Mafia, with plenty of shade, breeze (and air conditioning in the rooms) when the heat gets very intense. Ally and the staff are kind and attentive, and there has clearly been some thought and resources put into the design and finish of the property. Simple but tasty food is served daily, and our rate was inclusive of breakfast and dinner, which was good value. There is direct access down a path and steps to the beach and mangroves. The bar area overlooking the ocean and the tops of trees is stunning, and perfect for a sunset drink or morning coffee.
Very little. Kileleni is still being developed, with the current 3 bandas available for guests soon to expand to 7, but I expect the overall atmosphere of tranquility to be retained. Lunch was overpriced for what it was but that is the only minor complaint.
NLAmazing food, friendly staff, great pool and a good shower. Drinking water available the entire day. Big rooms with a nice lounging area in front of each bungalow. Pick-up and drop-off are included.
The blue paint of the pool gets on your skin. It can be a bit hard to wash it off.
ATA lovely new place on Mafia. Small, quiet and relaxing. The staff were terrific. The food was a real highlight too! Only 3 bungalows and I gather they might add more - it’s definitely a tiny place, but for the price and location/view - plus incredible food and service - great value for money. Will be back.
