The Overhang

A very very special place. Incredible setting. Perfect beaches. Beach tents super luxurious. Delicious food. A wonderful team of people who took excellent care of us. Would highly recommend and hope to return soon!

This place is worth every penny! We enjoyed every moment, and it felt like we were on a private island. We really appreciated all the effort Mr. Thomas, the manager, put in to make sure our stay was perfect! And Phoebe, responsible for guest experience, for planning and making sure everything went smoothly and comfortably for us. Highly recommended for people who care about quality in every aspect. And dont want to forget to thank David the driver for being very keen to take us everywhere. And vinoth the F&B manager for taking care of the food quality!

Spectacular location with fantastic views from the houses. The private beaches are huge, one wild and one sheltered, they were both totally deserted during our stay. Its quite issolated so you really aren't going anywhere if you stay there, which was not a problem for us. Excellent food. Shortish menu if you stay for a week but otherwise fine. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and the whole place felt very safe.

A few small points about the place but nothing really. The website needs updating because it says there is a walk and a yoga teacher but neither are available. The only big point is that the full/half board offer felt odd since there really is nowhere else to eat and we didn't really understand what was included in the package. In the end if felt like the offer didn't represent a good deal for us, but I can't prove it, so what was the pont of making a large upfornt payment for all food and drink?

Location is magical for a romantic retreat, especially the beach tents are one of a kind. Enjoyed every moment of our stay and the staff made our experience even better. They're too polite, friendly and always there for you for your every need. The chef was amazing, we enjoyed every we meal we had.

Rustige plek met strand en oceaan voor de deur. Zeer vriendelijk personeel

Het is een afgelegen resort. Door het moeilijk begaanbare pad (3 km) naar de openbare weg, blijft je vooral binnen. Dus niet echt de plek voor een fietstochtje of voor een bezoekje aan Dat es Salaam (2u enkele reis)

The amazing view of the sea. The two lovely secluded beaches. The attentive staff.

The bathroom with wet room type shower was old and shabby. We didn't like the floor constantly being wet. Our house could have been the only like that though.

This is in the middle of a landscape which feels untouched like a paradise by the sea and nature. The tent in the night I was listening to the waves by the beach
