The location, staff, food are exceptional. We stayed in Beach Tent which is 50m from the shore. As their slogan says the time stands still on this part of Dar es salaam. Amazing place if you just wanna get away from you daily routine to relax on a pristine shores of Africa.

Road to the property for last 3KM is a beach sand offroad.

The Overhang is an excellent staycation or workation spot. Located in the outskirts of Dar-Es-Salaam it offers a quiet place with beautiful ambience for unwinding and relaxing. The resort's culinary offerings are praiseworthy esp the breakfast menu and the sea food platter are mouthwatering. Moreover, the attentive and friendly staff go above and beyond to provide personalized service, ensuring that we felt valued and well-cared for throughout our stay. The combination of outstanding food and impeccable service created a truly unforgettable experience.

The breakfast was mediocre and the portions were too small The pool area needs severe maintenance. Two of the guests broke into the pool gutters before entering the pool
