Mambo Ocean Resort

It is a beautiful property and right on the beach. The staff are friendly and mostly helpful.

It is not this property’s fault, but the hotel right next door BLASTS dance music all day and night, until nearly midnight. It’s so loud and not at all easy to sleep, unfortunately.

We chose Mambo Ocean Resort mainly for its beachfront location and beautiful white sand beach, and it was perfect! What’s even better is that in this part of the island, the beach stays swimmable even during low tide, which was incredible. We visited to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, and the hotel staff made it such a special experience. They helped us organize a cake, surprised us with the local birthday song, and even decorated our room with a personalized birthday card for her. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that meant a lot to us as a family. The best part of our stay was definitely the staff. Everyone, from the manager to every team member, was genuinely kind, friendly, and always ready to help. Communication was easy, and we always felt taken care of. During our stay, there was a temporary political issue in Tanzania that affected internet and bank services, but the hotel managed everything calmly and professionally. They made sure we could still enjoy our vacation without any worries. Everything ended up being just fine. The resort also offers a great variety of guided activities around Zanzibar, has swimming pools that are perfect for kids, and keeps the rooms spotlessly clean every day (which is super convenient after beach time!). I especially appreciated that they even cleaned our room on check-out day.

C'était un hôtel incroyable personnel incroyable ... femmes de ménage qui font bien leur travail, restaurant très bon, petit déjeuner de qualité, et aussi choix à la carte, serveur et serveuses très gentille !! Vraiment du jamais vue . Coucou au serveur BEN qui as été exceptionnel durant tout le séjour, il est très gentil ! Du jamais vu . Que n'avez-vous pas Les femmes de ménages faisaient un travail de qualité , elle passer 2 fois dans la journée ( matin et soir ) vraiment magnifique . La cuisine 10/10 trop bien Bravo à l’ensemble de l’équipe … bien attentionnée et toujours avec le sourire

Petit déjeuner au top, variés et copieux ! Personnel accueillants, bienveillants et touchants. Hôtel superbe, beaucoup de charme. Bon emplacement pour ceux sui aiment le calme, la tranquillité. (Ps: Le Mambo Spa est super)

Toller Service, gute Lage direkt am Strand. Das Personal ist sehr nett und fürsorglich: während dem Nachtessen werden die Moskitonetze heruntergelassen. Sehr feines Essen, reichhaltiges Frühstück mit Früchten und Gebäck. Am Abend gibt es Live-Unterhaltung mit Musik, Tanz und Akrobatik. Die Unterkunft organisiert auch Ausflüge in die Umgebung: der Schnorcheltrip auf Mnemba-Island hat wunderbar geklappt und hat sich gelohnt.

Am Strand hat es viele Beachboys, die teils sehr aufdringlich und uneinsichtig sind - schade! Achtung Seeigel im seichten Wasser: unbedingt Badeschuhe mitnehmen. Im Pool war etwas gar viel Chlor, so dass sich unsere Badekleider unschön verfärbten.
