Super Stay Hotel, Oslo

Thankfully the room was quiet (we stayed Monday through Thursday). The bathroom was small, but water was hot and pressure was decent. The room was comparably cheap and near the metro. The staff seemed bemused about all my complaints, which was strangely endearing.

The headboard was old and dingey and was hiding exposed wires from a wall socket, there was no bedside lighting, there was no air conditioning and despite the relatively cool weather the room was hot and somehow muggy, the cafe was closed, the coffee was free but they didn't have dairy, the elevators didn't work going down, the soap in the shower ran out and no one replaced it, all the furniture seemed to be ready for replacement (photographs much better than the reality), the window wouldn't open due to a broken latch and no one was there to fix it, there were no hand towels (that's a foot towel in the photo), etc.

Nice building and comfortable rooms located just a few metro stops away from the city center. The self check-in process went very smoothly, and the staff members present on site were always friendly and helpful. Although the hotel could not cater any meals at the time, bakeries and bars and also present just across the street, which is a nice way to start and to end your day.

We were unfortunately located just above the entrance doors, and were regularly disturbed by people talking very loudly at night, while the hotel sign also blocked the view and prevented the natural light from flowing into the room.

La televisión no funcionaba, la habitación no tenía aire acondicionado (tenía un ventilador que tampoco funcionaba) y en la ducha a los 5 minutos se iba el agua caliente

L'emplacement, la propreté, le calme.

Lit pas très confortable, à mon goût.
