Jet Villas Entebbe

This place is amazing - such a bargain. We are budget travelers, and have stayed in some pretty marginal places in Uganda. You pay just a little more for this place, but what an upgrade! Rooms/beds are super nice, views from the balcony are nice (it opens on to a huge wetland area - you can get a glimpse of Lake Victoria in the distance), you can have an ice cold beer on the rooftop bar, and the food is fantastic. By far the best showers we’ve had in the month we’ve been in Uganda. Staff is over the top friendly, helpful, and efficient. The only wish would be for air conditioning, but there are fans in the rooms. Note that Google Maps will take you down many rough dirt roads to get there, but it’s actually only a block away from the pavement so hopefully your taxi driver will know the better route.
