Atoh's Maison

Atoh's Maison is a hidden gem that I can't recommend too highly! It's a gorgeous old-style Cambodian house, newly renovated and decorated with great care, set inside a lush garden with a pool -- much nicer than staying in the center of hectic, touristy Siem Reap. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and atmospheric. Sitoh, the owner, is so thoughtful and hospitable, and she serves a delicious breakfast with many a la carte options; she can also put together a nice box of bread and butter and hard-boiled eggs if you're going on an early temple tour.

The location is actually quite good for getting to Angkor and there are some restaurants nearby on the road, but it is about ten minutes outside of town. But that's quite a quick and cheap tuk-tuk ride. The place is a little bit hard to find, tucked down a driveway; the driveway entrance is next to a restaurant, but you can't hear any noise from the restaurant or the road once you're actually on the property. Watch out for mosquitos -- not in the room, but when you're eating outside.

The accommodation and the team are absolutely recommendable. The entire house is furnished with great attention to detail and the tradition of this area. We were very well looked after so that we felt completely at ease. The children loved the saltwater pool and we also loved the beatiful garden. The entire property is a small family business that is run with a lot of dedication and attention. We also liked the location, as it is not very far to the temples, but the city is also not too far away and easy to reach by tuk tuk. Many thanks once again to Sitoh and her team. We would love to come back.

We have traveled a lot but this place in Siem Reap is something very special that everyone should see and experience at least once! We were given such a warm welcome at the airport and driven to a dream accommodation that ultimately felt like a little home. Everything was absolutely perfect and exceeded every expectation! The cozy rooms, the loving staff, the beautiful pool, the entire tropical jungle complex, the delicious breakfast, the personal tuk tuk rides around the entire Angkor Wat temple complex, the other excursions with insights into local restaurants (away from the hectic pub/tourist street) were also unique and will remain in our memories! We would love to come back now and would really recommend everyone to stay there on their trip to Cambodia or Siem Reap!!!!!! <3 Best Regards to Sitoh her Family and the Wohle Team :)

the hosts are super nice and the room is new and clean.

Fabulous place, beautiful well-equipped, spacious room and lovely outside seating area, great pool and attentive owners. Wish I'd had more time to spend just at the hotel! Conveniently located between Siem Reap center and Angkor Wat. Possibility to cycle there using the hotel's free bicycles available. Can highly recommend everything about this hotel and give it more than 10/10 if I could. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sitoh and husband for such a lovely stay!

We loved the luxurious bedroom and bathroom, the bed was so comfortable and the pillows were heavenly. We loved the clean saltwater pool and the tropical garden with fabulous plants. The house was full of interesting art , antiques and sculptures. But most of all we enjoyed and valued the friendly and hospitable hosts, thank you both so much. We felt we experienced a bit of paradise, it was so relaxing and you cared for us.

Lovely spot, lovely pool and garden, rooms and outdoor space are beautifully decorated with genuine art. The rooms are spacious and very clean and comfortable. The meals are great, home cooked and good value. The hosts are lovely people, very attentive and caring, they were above and beyond helpful and helped us organize our sightseeing. They have a tuk tuk driver at a reasonable rate, he is also lovely, he gave us cold water and cold cloths to cool off at every stop.

Everything. It was a memorable stay. The staff in the hotel are incredible. They go above and beyond to help guests with whatever they need. They are so kind and we already want to return. The rooms, pool, breakfast and everything was perfect. Could not recommend more.
