"Nice apartment with all the necessary amenities"

Great communication with the Venus Apartments team. The apartment has everything you could need. Especially appreciated the two air-conditioning units.

The bathroom off the front bedroom was very stuffy and it smelled unpleasant. The fan didn't really help. Also, the front door lock didn't inspire a lot of confidence.

Location, smoke balcony with street view, good living room.

When we booked this appartment, we asked the host to confirm that the air conditioners were working properly, as this was our most important request. The host assured us they worked PERFECTLY. Unfortunately, from the first night we discovered they were broken, they were not blowing cold air, especially in the bedroom, where it stopped every 10 minutes and made loud banging noises every 5 minutes, making it impossible to sleep. The host sent technicians twice, and each time we had to change our plans depending on when the technician was coming, but the issue was never fixed. Later, electricity went out in half of the apartment, including both bathrooms and the boiler, and the hot water also ran out, exactly on my boyfriend’s birthday, they again sent a technician, and again our plans were disrupted, they fixed it. After some hours the electricity went out again. Despite being given a 24/7 assistance number, nobody answered our calls, and we had to solve the problem ourselves. Then the washing machine leaked, and AC problems continued. Because of all these problems, we asked the host for some compensation, or at least a late check-out. Instead, we received a very strange reply saying that we could get this only if we agreed not to write a review about everything that had happened. We were shocked by this whole experience, and we are writing it down so that no one else will have to go through the same situation. I hope that Booking.com will pay attention to this situation.

"Perfect flat in best part of Budapest"

We had an amazing stay at this flat. It's located right in the center next to some amazing restaurants and cafes. The projector was a nice touch! We'll definitely be back
