Ferme Du Chateau

The staff were friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel like part of the family.

Nothing to dislike.

The staff were able to accommodate our request for an early breakfast. It was plentiful and really good. I rate the croissants 10/10. The family room my sons had was vast and very comfortable.

I'd have loved the pool to be open an extra half hour as we arrived in the evening and I only had time for a very shot dip. There were some people singing opera outside late in the evening which kept one of my sons awake!

The location was good as it was not far from the A26 and about two and a half hours from Calais. The breakfast was also excellent, with a good choice of items. Best of all, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.

It would have been nice if the Games Room had been left open in the evening so we could have used it after going to a restaurant.

Location is great, ideal for family recreation in that region, but certainly not for short business trips. Good breakfast.

Lack of comfort. Matras / beds not of good quality. Not always clean, received a bedsheets with large stains on it, but staff solved this the next day. You have to keep in mind that all extra commodities are on reservations and you have to pay extra. No meals available, on reservation only and not always available. Pool only accesable till 19:00. So very stressfull for business trip customers.

This was a real find - a beautiful location slightly off the beaten track but perfect for breaking our journey. We had requested adjoining rooms as we were travelling with young children and we were given two with an interlocking door so that was perfect. The children really enjoyed use of the pool after a long day driving. It turned out that we were the only guests who had booked for dinner so we were given a table d'hote menu which was really good - and thoughtful as the lady had kindly (and rightly!) assumed our children would prefer nuggets and chips to what the grown ups were eating. We put the children to bed and sat outside in the communal garden enjoying rural France!

The farmer had been muck spreading which was a bit pungent in the night... I guess the job has to be done!!
