Boutique Hotel Shell

We had a wonderful stay at Shell Boutique Hotel. The rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was both delicious and well-prepared. Special thanks to Balsa — he was friendly, respectful, and truly professional. He helped us not only during our stay but also with great local tips on what to see around Budva. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. Highly recommended!

New hotel

The finishing was poorly done. There was a 1 cm gap between the tiles and the window, in the shower there were still markings on the shower tiles of the tiler where he did some maths on where to cut. Breakfast was ok, you get a nice plage of charcuterie, only downside is that you only get one coffee at the breakfast. The second one you need to pay for. For the price it is an ok hotel, they just need to touch up the rooms and be a bit more professional. Staf that is on their phone whilst they should be looking at the restaurant floor. If they can just up their game a little bit it would be excellent.

Amazing view from balconies was the best. Manager Balsa was working hard and friendly and treated us with kindness and so helpful. His English is very good. We had a room upgrade for some nights and stayed an extra night so experienced both the deluxe sea view room and the superior suite with sea view. This was a very spacious apartment on third floor and we enjoyed the view even when it was raining and dull. It was the end of the season so quieter which we prefer. Some things were closing but there were lots of lovely eating places close by and boat trips can be booked. The sandy beach was great and would suit families well as other beaches were stony. We used the buses to get in to Budva and other places.

We liked everything. As end of season maybe, TV in deluxe double was broken. Continental breakfast was good but we would suggest maybe offering other cooked options apart from eggs each day eg pancakes

We really liked the location – right on the seafront, yet quiet and peaceful (we stayed in October). The room is modern, everything is new and high quality: a comfortable firm mattress, good bed linen, a well-thought-out neutral interior, plenty of storage, and lighting options. The bathroom fittings are excellent and everything works perfectly. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and quality products. We also enjoyed the sauna – new, clean, and comfortably hot. The staff were very attentive, especially the receptionist Balša, and we appreciated that the hotel is pet-friendly.

Overall, everything was great. The only small note is that guests with dogs can have breakfast only on the terrace, which was not an issue for us.
