Reykjavík Central Guesthouse

Sehr central.

Wasserkocher vor Ort, leider kaputt. Kaffeepulver und Salz war in der Küche zu finden jedoch keine einzige Tasse oder Glas um sich einen Kaffee zu machen.

Had good wifi.

The bathroom was really dirty. Underneath the toilet was yellow, mold on the wall in the shower, mold on the shower stick where tou hold the shower head, mirror where really dirty, corners of the bathroom where full of dust. Beds where poorly made, felt like i walked in a 1star guesthouse.

L emplacement bien situe . Acces pour rentrer a l interieur facile. Salle de bain bien equipe. Les arrets de bus sont proche tout comme le centre ville

Manque une table a la cuisine pour manger . Pas trop facile si voiture a garer . L arriere de l etablissement pas trop bien entretenu.

the woman who was acting as customer service was kind, but the owners refused to give us a refund when their facility was not in good condition and they claimed that we refused a room change that was offered.

Steaming garbage out back, open windows, damp and smelled like rotting fish, dirty floors, rest of the space smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals.

Die Lage war durch die Nähe zu den touristischen Hotspots in Reykjavik ganz gut. Check In und Out laufen problemlos ab, Kommunikation war gut.

Direkt an einer stark befahrenen Hauptstraße. Das "Guesthouse" ist außerdem eher ein Hostel als andere Guesthouses, wie wir sie in Island sonst gewohnt sind. Leider ist die gesamte Unterkunft mit Ausnahme der Zimmer auch nicht gerade sauber gewesen. Für eine kurze Übernachtung noch ok, für mehr unserer Ansicht nach aber nicht geeignet.

Quiet neighborhood for being so central. We got the last available room which had 2 twin beds, a sink, desk, chair, a small LED table lamp. The sink should have a wall light over it. The room needs a row of coat and hat hooks.

One of the shared bathrooms has a shower that is elevated about 10 inches and is hard to get into because you have to climb over the toilet. It’s dangerous to get out of because it’s such a big drop to the floor and you have to climb over the toilet this time soaking wet which makes it more hazardous. Installing a curved shower door that opened from the other side and lowering the shower pan would help.

Location was good, price was good
