AS Boutique hotel

We had the most lovely time at this hotel over New Years. Not only was the location brilliant (2 mins walk to the central square/3 bridges, 30mins taxi from the airport) but the staff, quality of accommodation/furnishings and breakfast were simply sublime. Would 100% recommend and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Ljubljana.

Perfect location i City center, excellent staff, very nice hotel with rooms thoughtfully designed, very quiet. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. The only thing that I would have been nice to have is an iron and ironing board in the room. The hotel does have laundry service.

This hotel is a true gem. Although it’s a 4-star establishment, it offers 5-star service! The rooms are beautiful, featuring comfortable beds with quality sheets, and spacious bathrooms equipped with excellent shower and plush towels. The coffee machine in the room is a delightful bonus for us coffee lovers. The entire atmosphere is lovely and inviting. Additionally, the hotel’s central location is perfect for exploring the city. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. Thank you! 🥂

We had a wonderful one night stay. We were picked up at our parking garage and transported by cart to this lovely hotel. We were treated to a glass of champagne as we checked in. Every single employee we met was so personable, spoke English very well and were so kind and helpful. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, from the lobby, halls, dining room and our room. Very contemporary and elegant. We had an amazing breakfast with all kinds of homemade delicacies. Katianna was so professional and kind.

An absolute gem of a hotel! With only 30 rooms, it has a wonderful ambience and everything you could wish for in a hotel. The rooms are large and very well appointed, overlook gardens and have a luxurious bathroom. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. There are 3 restaurants associated with the hotel and the 2 we tried were excellent, particularly the traditional one in the basement, where the food and service were exceptional. The hotel is located in a pedestrian area right in the centre of the city but is like a little oasis of privacy. I don't know why you would even consider staying anywhere else in Ljubljana..

Amazing gem in the middle of Ljubljana.

This hotel opened less than a year ago. So everything is new and modern. From the switches to turn on and off the shower, to all the plugs, desk, comfy bed, auto lights, wifi etc. Everything about the design ,furniture, layout and amenities was well thought out. I had no issues with anything in the room. …and having reviewed hundreds and hundreds of hotels all over the world, I rarely can say that. The hotel is located right on one of the old town streets. Half a block from the main square. Service was superb. Everyone aimed to please. when I had an issue with their modern auto lights turning on and off when I did not want them to, they reset it special for me . We did not have breakfast at the hotel. We opted for breakfast at some of the lovely little cafes around town. Parking your car is a few minutes away at the public parking lot under the main plaza. You call the hotel and they sent an electric cart to pick us up, right at the parking space number we gave them. If you don’t have luggage, it’s a very short work Photos on their website are an accurate portrayal of the rooms and hotel. The photo that looks like it’s the front of the hotel is actually the back. The front is the picture with the little courtyard as the entrance to the hotel is just a doorway on a street in the old town and after walking through the doorway there is a small porte-cochere, then into that courtyard. I felt like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz opening the door of her home and seeing the beautiful land of Oz. I cannot say enough about this hotel and our experience there. I could not think of staying at any other hotel when visiting Ljubljana

My only concern in writing this review is what if more people know about this jewel, then maybe we will not be able to get in if we are able to come back! This is a SUPERB hotel in all respects. We were actually booked into another hotel that turned out to be so dreary we made a last minute investigation and happened upon AS Boutique on an Amex list of top city hotels. From the minute of walking through the street underpass into the lush green oasis of the front courtyard you get a little thrill of “oh this feels special”. And then the warmth and intelligence of all the staff - in our case Yure and Ulsha. The hotel is very chic with a luxe but understated Baltic style. The rooms are well thought out and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely - perfect in all respects. We consider this to be one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at - up there with the Bel Air in LA, or the Connaught in London. In closing? This is a place to feel lucky to stay at.

The pillows were the absolute best I've ever had in a hotel. I even asked about them and the very friendly hotel manager went through the trouble of sending me the manufacturers website so I could order them for home. She even offered to sell me the pillow (but I didn't have space to take it in my luggage). Location is great, the jakuzzi on the roof is a nice treat. Everyone ia exceptionally friendly and professional. The only sad thing is that I had forgotten a glass box in their fridge which magically dissappeared. Would have expected them to let me know I left sth behind, but even when I asked by mail right away I only got a reply a few days later that nothing was found. Luckily it was only a 20€ worth glass box and not jewellery...
