Hestaland Horse Farm Cottage

Majoituspaikan keittiö oli hyvin varusteltu ja kokkailu onnistui siellä hyvin. Majoitus toimi muutenkin hyvin lapsiperheelle. Farmin ystävällinen koira kävi meitä kerran iloisesti talon pihassa tervehtimässä, mikä oli kiva juttu.

En saanut puhelimitse ketään kiinni majoituspaikasta. Sähköpostiin kyllä vastattiin melko nopeasti ja saimme sitä kautta vastauksen kysymykseemme.

The cottage is located on a horse farm premises, there is a very nice view and a lot of privacy. It is also cosy somehow.

Unfortunately the cottage is way overpriced for the conditions of it. First of all we have paid the full price of 898 euro for 3 nights, but only 1 bedroom was made up, even if we have booked the whole place. The other two bedrooms were a mess as for a lot of other places of it. Kitchen very poorly cleaned, many cabinets were sticky as well as the places where the pans and pots were kept. It was full of unuseful objects just randomly left there, in most cases also ruined and stained. The sofa has a very big stain and it smells not nice. In the toilet there is a sort of machinery that did not work but also was quite gross. The carpet in the bathroom was very dirty. The cottage is also full of random stuff, in the entrance cabinet there is laundry just left there in boxes and all messed up. It is also full of baskets, things, items that it is not really for any purpose but just contributing the the whole messy and non very clean condition. The holiday was ok but the house should really much more looked after as this way it is so expensive for the conditions is in. Also disappointing that they let me pay for the whole house but two bedrooms out of three were a mess!

El entorno es espectacular. Cabaña muy acogedora, perfecta para ir en familia. Hocomks dos tours con caballos y a los niños les encantó.

剛好遇到暴風雪的時候住進來～雖然不能外出，但是旁邊有馬場，也是走過去拍了許多照片。 住宿環境整潔，跟照片一樣，裡面也很溫暖，只是廁所只有一間，我們剛好住滿7位，要輪流洗澡。然後還有一天不小心把廁所門從裡面鎖起來。還好平安夜當天還是有派人員幫忙開門～ 評價是好的

This was our favourite accommodation on our 10 day self drive tour. Whilst not the largest place we stayed in; it was perfect for our family of four. Absolutely amazing for the northern lights - we were so lucky to have clear skies and lots of action. The dog who came to visit was cute!

This is a perfect place to stay and what we envisioned before coming..:a charming and warm accommodation on a horse farm in Iceland. We stayed here and did day trip Snaefellness which was wonderful! We encountered a minor problem when we arrived and the owner was knocking on our doorstep five minutes later with a bottle of wine and a ready for our problem fixed within the hour! Extremely welcoming and just lovely place to be with our family (including 3 teens.) our son was taking pictures of the horses from our doorstep in the miiddle of the night. A very serene and warm place…wish we would have booked a horse tour. Would definitely recommend!!!!

Nothing negative to say…one of our favorite accommodations during our 8 day tour through Iceland!
