Minty - Sweet 1 Bedroom Apartment

Very good stay, double bed and 2 single beds, ACs on both floors, private entrance from the street, kitchen with microwave.

The personal is welcoming they make sure that we arrive the apartment smooth

The location was perfect in the center of Valetta.

We had 2 toiler paper's for 4 People, for 4 days. Not enough at all. The one bed didn't have duvet, but 2 sheets and everyday we had to put on the quilt.

We liked the property, its equipment and location.

It was quite loud, however after 10pm it calmed down.

They charge you 300 euro ….and 1 night is 120 euro…and they give u the money after 14 days… scam

Great location. The apartment is cosy and nice. Places to eat and drink nearby. Bathroom nicely fitted in on -1 level so you can use it and not invade the privacy of those who sleep in the main bedroom. Electricity adapter was provided (I have forgotten about their different system). Hairdryer hidden under the sink.

We had a very nice stay in Minty Sweet and I won't hesitate to go back there but a few things have to pointed out: 1) Getting the code & keys If you don't fill in the guest info prior to your arrival then you are in serious trouble as you don't get the exact address and the code. But... even if you have the code it is not east to open the safe box to get the keys. I had to use some power to open it (well it happens as things get worn out but it is stressful). I tried to call the owners but even if I wrote that I arrive around 22:00 their phone was off! 2) Toilet cosmetics? We were 3 adults staying there 3 nights and we got 3 little shampoos and 3 little shower gels (15 ml each). This is not serious and it echoes opinion that I have read from previous guests. Good that I took some with me just in case. It has to improve. Soap and shampoo don't cost a fortune. 3) Tea/coffee? Not even traces of tea or coffee could be found in the apartment. Again, it would be nice to have a few tea bags available and a bit of coffee too. I can't remember if the coffee machine was available or not. 4) Nosie Be aware that if you sleep on the beds next to the kitchen (the bedroom at -1 level I guess is much quieter) you can be awake early in the morning by the bells from the church nearby! In the night you can also hear party lovers going back at 4 AM (unless you are one of them).

Location is okish, but there is a church in front and you will hear the bells quite often

The pictures are misleading and the property is way to pricey for what offers Deposit is required outside of booking, and you will need to add pictures of your passport There is no proper window or wall, so you will hear everything from outside The bedroom has mould and the humidity is high, the clothes were damp in the morning The kitchen is not equipped properly

The flat is well located within Valleta which allows easy travel and exploration of the old city.

1. There was a horrible smell of formaldehyde upon entry and when I asked the host to address this, they simple said “deal with it” 2. Horrible communication 3. Additional deposit of 500€ that was not mentioned in the description which was demanded a day before entry 4. Located next to a bell tower so disrupted sleep is to be expected
