I chose this boutique hotel based on its rating of over 8/10, which led me to expect a smooth and well-organized stay. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. While I understand that boutique hotels may not operate a 24-hour reception, I received no information prior to arrival regarding access to the hotel or my room. Upon arrival, I had to contact the number provided in my booking confirmation and wait approximately 10 minutes before receiving a digital key for the main entrance. The issues did not end there. The digital key failed to open my room door, leaving me waiting outside for another 10 minutes while attempting to get assistance via WhatsApp. Eventually, a staff member was sent to unlock the room. Once inside, I was instructed to activate the electricity using the room card, only to discover that there was no power in the room. This required yet another wait for someone to come and resolve the issue. To make matters worse, after returning from dinner later that evening, the digital key once again failed to open my room door, resulting in further delays and frustration. For a property with such highly positive ratings, this level of disorganization, lack of communication, and repeated access issues is simply unacceptable. Basic aspects of a guest's stay—such as gaining entry to the hotel and room, and having functioning electricity—should work seamlessly. Unfortunately, my experience was far below the standard I expected and cannot justify the rating this hotel currently holds.
