Palazzo Castagna Boutique Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s a smaller boutique hotel with beautiful and cozy common areas that create a very relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, with high-quality ingredients, and the breakfast room itself is very tastefully decorated. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, and the bar prices were fair and reasonable. The bed was very comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and the location was very convenient, there is a bus stop close to the hotel with direct connections both to the airport and to Valletta.

As for the things that could be improved, it would be nice to have a slightly larger selection of sweet breakfast options and a bit more variation in the daily breakfast menu, although the breakfast overall was truly excellent. Also, we think the pools should stay open longer than 6 PM.

The location is equally impressive—set in the heart of a charming small town, right on the main square, just steps away from a magnificent 400-year-old cathedral. Despite its tranquil setting, the hotel is only a 10-minute drive from Valletta, making it perfectly positioned for both relaxation and exploration. The service was impeccable and perfectly complemented the overall experience.
