4-Bed House in Wetherby sleeps 8 near York

It was very spacious. The extra bathrooms were great. The en suite shower is fantastic. Kitchen is so big and plenty places sit to eat both in doors and outdoors. Garden was massive. A good place to explore if your mobility is ok. The squirrels wait on the back fence to be fed. They had brown bread and satsumas. The host was great. Communication was fantastic. Thank you.

The house has so much potential, however, they were not ready for guests. The rooms are lovely and big and the garden has a gorgeous view.

The house wasn't clean. I know the owner said they had issues with the cleaner arriving that day, but there was dirt everywhere. Bits of food left on surfaces, glass doors with marks and fingers prints everywhere. It wasn't ready for guests. We also had 3 children all under 6 years old and the rug in the living room was so slippery that even adults were falling and slipping whilst walking on it. There were not enough towels, there were 7 of us (4 adults, 3 children) we had 4 bath towels and 4 hand towels. We also had to ask where they were located. No information book on where to find things, how to use anything, nothing with the wifi password. Three of the 4 beds were comfortable but one was terrible. The pillows were like bricks, we lucky found 2 softer ones in a wardrobe but I recommend bringing your own pillows.
