Koča Kronca - Velika planina

The hut was fantastic! We upgraded to having the sauna, which was heavenly after a full day hiking! Hosts were super friendly and helpful, sorted everything for us. The breakfast they left us was also a highlight - so much local cheese, meat and homemade yoghurts. Incredible views and just an unreal experience.

The views, the coziness of the chalet, the games provided, the full kitchen, the general ambience was great. A free bottle of liquor was an excellent touch, it was delicious!

Clarity of how to arrive at the chalet, a bit more complicated and time sensitive than realised. We went during shoulder season and the cable car and chair lift only runs every hour. The only restaurant (which was excellent) also only served food until 3pm. Not bad things just could be helpful to be more clear before booking.

De locatie en de gehele ervaring. Het is terug naar de basis, maar wel op een comfortabele manier. Je bent wel enigszins afhankelijk met eten en drinken: er is geen supermarkt om de hoek. Echter valt dat in het niets bij alles wat je ervoor terug krijgt. Prachtige omgeving .. even weg uit de hedendaagse waanzin. Heerlijk!

The view was astounding- scored an upgrade- accepted with thanks. We had a stunning view of the sunset one evening. The ‘larder’ was very well stocked and we thought fairly priced. The koc was beautiful inside and out. Very comfy.

We knew there was no drinking water. Annoying but we were prepared with info. Just had to be sure to set the heater to a reasonable level for sleep. Our fault that it was too high the first night.

Kouzelné místo, připravená snídaně nám vystačila i na večeři. Tekla teplá voda a v koupelně bylo příjemně teplo díky podlahovému topení. Chaloupka se nachází v opravdu nádherném prostředí , i když to na nás bylo drahé, stálo to za ten zážitek.

Beautiful traditional cottage in a remarkable location where people still follow traditional herdsmen livelihoods. Very nice and supportive hosts who provided us with a lot of information of the areas. We also enjoyed the special breakfast with homemade bread, honey, cheese and sausages. Our boys liked to the small mini supermarket inside the apartment.

Overnight stay in such a special location is not cheap but it also take a lot to install everything and provide the services. One point I would recommend is changing the mattresses which were not super comfy.
