Remarkable 2-bed House in Walesby Nottinghamshire

It was spotless, very cosy, great correspondence from the owners most definitely stay again.

Cleanest and most well equipped holiday home we have possibly stayed in. Thoughtful touches (including dog blankets, bowls and treats made us wish we had a dog!) made it feel very homely. Contact with the host was great, really friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the welcome goodies too. Thank you!

Exceptionally clean and well furnished bungalow . Secure garden was great for our dog. Easy to communicate with owners over an issue we had with the thermostat. We will recommend this place to friends and hope to come again soon .

N/a. Everything was perfect for our needs

The home was very new, beautifully furnished by the owners themselves, very clean, a clever floorplan with spacious rooms, nice kitchen and bathroom, a good sized private garden with a lovely conservatory and off street car parking. Easy to find and access. Wifi very good. It was one of the nicest places we ever stayed at. I would have rated it excellent and would book again, however see the things we didn't like.

King size bed in master bedroom: mattress was very firm, couldn't sleep much in both nights, gave me back/neck/head pain. Maybe a thicker latex mattress topper would provide more comfort. Bed frames in second bedroom are a bit wobbly, and WC seat cover too which is an easy fix. The main issue however was that, unfortunately, the whole house smelled so very strongly of various perfumes that it was almost unbearable to breathe. Every room had one or more types of room fragrance, and in addition to that the bedding and towels had strong cents on them too. This would not have been necessary as the house was perfectly clean and new and no need to cover up any smells. The house would have been very cozy to spend time in but we couldn't enjoy it at all. All our jackets, bags and clothes kept the smell even when we got home. Hosts might mean well and want to add something extra nice for their guests but please consider that not everyone likes the same scents, some can have allergic reactions or can't bear them at all, and too much of anything mostly achieves the opposite. Such a pity. If you don't mind things like these, it is the perfect accommodation in a lovely area!

Stayed here a few times now, it’s our go to every time when visiting friends and family. Spotlessly clean, home from home everything you need with many extras. Private parking, enclosed garden. Tastefully decorated with a lovely comfortable bed. We need to stay longer next time.

Perfect size for a family of 4 and the doggo. All rooms were of good size. Bathroom was big. Conservatory was lovely.
