Location brilliant for hospital. Had the whole place to ourselves

Perhaps a new frying pan and oven trays would be good..

■ House has 4 rooms with sufficient beds for 6-7 persons ■ House has sufficient parking for two cars (alongside street parking) ■ Landlord (Walters) was very helpful and responsive, tried to help with the issues with our stay.

■ Central heating wasn't working throughout the three nights we were there due to a boiler fault. Fortunately for us, the weather was chilly but not cold, so it was at least bearable. However, this was definitely not ideal. ■ Bath mats were not cleaned properly ■ TV/ Internet was intermittent, and bandwidth (for all the three nights we were there) was slow/laggy and virtually unwatchable as live TV channels were pausing out buffering every 10-15 seconds ■ Overall, our stay at Overbury Lodge was bittersweet. While the property was able to accommodate our large group, a few of the basic things, such as heating and TV facilities, were not working.

Comfortable mattress, large fridge and had a smart television

Upon arrival at the property, the front garden was very over grown, which I reported via message on booking.com, it was acknowledged and said it would be sorted but it wasn’t. Rubbish over the drive way also. The rear garden was very over grown too, house was quite tired looking, missing bits of floor in the kitchen, walls needed filling and painting and generally a bit grubby. Definitely not worth the £530 odd for the week, very disappointed.
