Very classy and well done up inside, went when it was freezing but the log burner heats it up so quick Everything you need to cook Comfy bed and telly Beautiful view with some cute sheep Bathroom is clean and warm

Ran out of hot water for the bath when it was only half full but we made do

Rather unusual but we knew that before going. The hut was equipped with everything we needed although rather cramped. Good location if you like it very quiet but the road to the property is just 1 car width. I strongly suggest approaching from Huntscott direction and look for the children’s sign which can’t be seen from the other direction. The Red Oaks sign can be easily missed.

Using the remote toilet in the night was a drawback. Also for the person sleeping by the wall, getting out to go to the toilet in the night without waking the other person is nigh impossible. If the hut was 18 inches wider and longer it would have solved the bed problem and also been less cramped.

Superb location in a beautiful valley - peaceful and quiet and lots of local walks. The hut was gorgeous - very well equipped and cosy. We will be back.

We stayed for 6 nights and had a great time. The hut was fully equipped with everything you need and was very cosy. We didn’t have the best weather but we lit the log burner and we’re lovely and warm. The area is absolutely beautiful and we had several long walks and runs. The night sky was amazing. As there’s no light pollution you can see so many stars. It’s quite remote but there is a shop about 15 minute walk away. We enjoyed being away from it all.

Stunning place to be with beautiful views to Dunkery hill. Lovely walks from hut and easy reach of Minehead, Porlock and surrounding areas. I didn’t want to leave.

Fantastic place! Very comfortable and cosy for a few days away from city life. Has a wonderful fenced garden for your dogs and the surrounding views are superb. Definitely worth a comeback
