The hawthorns large detached 3 bedroom family home

Great location! Beautifully presented home, very clean, with all facilities you would need! Great attention to detail! Perfect for our trip!

The host was friendly and accommodating. The location of the property is close to the sea front, pubs and eating places and the accommodation was clean and comfortable.

My only criticism was parking due to the location.

Needs some maintenance,cracked tiles wardrobe door coming off, extractor fan not there.

They had a games room with a pool table and a darts board. Excellent kitchen which is well fitted and very modern. The bedrooms are lovely and spacious. Bathroom is clean and brand spanking new. The sofas in the living are a treat to sit on and unwind for the day. I don’t have an iron and couldn’t seem to find one, I asked the owner about this and the same day he came and bought me one. An absolute Gent!

Well appointed, spacious & clean.

Excellent location and lots of room for multiple guests. I greatly appreciate they are pet friendly and there is a private patio. This would be a great stay for a family as there are two large tv’s, a video game, and pool table. The host left a basket with a small milk, bread, biscuits, and bread. This was greatly appreciated. There was plenty of coffee available.

The beds need updating. They are creaky and not comfortable. Pillows are low quality and very flat. For the price, I expected better quality. My biggest disappointment was that the unit was not very clean. I can live with the dust and hair behind the doors but the dirty oven and microwave is a deterrent. There were no instructions on how to operate the oven. No dishwasher. There is a step at the front gate. We arrived after dark and tripped up the step as there is no light in that area. It was pitch black and we had to use our phone flashlight. No warning of a step. We noted the next day that a solar light was placed there, but it has apparently burnt out. We received check in instructions only after asking for them and at the last minute. This created anxiety as we knew our signal would not be good.

I can't praise this property enough. it's such a beautiful house. Very comfortable, clean and beautiful furniture. We had a welcome hamper, which was a lovely surprise. We will definitely come back and will recommend to family and friends.
