I liked our two night stay here very much. The room types appear to be quite different so make sure you book something fabulous with a great view. You really need a car here to explore the area and find food options. Easy to find; free secure onsite parking. Abdul was very welcoming and friendly; he really made us feel at home. We were the only guests so felt very well cared for. The Dar is an eclectic mix; it’s ‘modern’ in the fact that all the rooms face outwards with external windows from the central courtyard. The landscaping around the pool is pretty. Our room on the second floor was spacious and clean; beautiful views to the garden area and the Mediterranean Sea. The AC/heat unit worked well. Mini fridge but no drinking water or cups. Common areas to sit in lobby, outside and a very nice first floor balcony seating area. Across the street from a beach access to a clean, white sand beach Nice linens and towels; pool towels supplied. Comfortable bed and pillows. Abdul made us a wonderful and plentiful breakfast which we took in the spacious lobby which contains various seating area vignettes and a beautiful fireplace. A nice woman made breakfast the second morning. Well located for visiting the archeological sites at Kerkouane and El Haouaria, and the Kelibi Fortress.

There were lots of maintenance activities going on around the Dar in mid November; however the workmen were all pleasant. The pool contains a lot of leaf litter, and was cold. No hair dryer, toiletries, cups or glasses. The wifi doesn’t work on the second floor but it looks like work is currently being done to address this. Many stairs on this property; first to access the lobby then many more to the first and second floor rooms!!

Die Lage war perfekt. Man musste nur über die Straße und war an einem Traumstrand. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und es nicht bereut. Das vom Chefkoch Abdu zubereitete Essen war exzellent und sehr abwechslungsreich!

Lage direkt am Strand, aber 5 km außerhalb khelibia Haus sehr schön
